Maybe if I reinstall if that ends up being the case too. I'll just have to unlock it again, hopefully the game doesn't consider it already unlocked, or ticked off somewhere, because then I'll never be able to get it. This is inconvenient because I can't 100% predict when my complex login server decides to reset.
But in starships or BE there's no way to tell unless I keep checking. Usually if I'm playing an actual online game I will immediately know when I've lost connection because I will be logged out of a server or some such reaction. I logged out of both when I regained my connection to the internet and logged back in to see if that would refresh it or something, but I still don't have pioneers in BE, even though it said I unlocked it while unfortunately disconnected from the internet in starships. So does that mean I didn't get it now? It'll be there when you log in to My2K from both, I believe. When I went to switch games I did realize my internet connection was lost as my complex has a login server that needs to be refreshed periodicaly 2-3 times a day for whatever reason.
